FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

Are the Vision-1000 goggles anti-fog?

Yes. The Vision-1000 has an anti-fog coating applied to the inside of the lens that resists condensation during normal use. Heavy exertion in warm or humid conditions can still cause some fogging — that's true of all anti-fog coatings, not a defect. Wiping the inside of the lens dry with a clean cloth restores clarity.

Do the goggles fit over prescription glasses?

The Vision-1000 fits small prescription frames inside the goggle cup. Medium and large frames will not fit — the close-cup design means there isn't space for larger glasses. If you wear medium or large frames and need eye protection alongside a respirator, contact lenses are the better pairing. The G-750 full-face respirator is also not recommended with prescription glasses, as the temple arms can compromise the mask seal.

Are the goggles CE certified?

Yes. The Vision-1000 is CE certified to European standard EN 166:2001, optical class 1 — the highest optical clarity grade. The 2-pack variant additionally meets ANSI Z87.1, the American impact-resistance standard for safety eyewear. Both certifications are marked on the goggles themselves.

What do the goggles protect against?

The Vision-1000 protects against airborne particles, liquid splashes, and impact from low-energy projectiles. The 2-pack also carries ANSI Z87.1 impact resistance. The goggles do not protect against intense laser, welding arc, or chemical full-immersion hazards — those require specialised eyewear.

Can I use the goggles alongside a half-mask respirator?

Yes — that's how the Vision-1000 is included in the G-500 kit. Wear the goggles over the bridge of the nose with the mask underneath. The goggles' anti-fog coating reduces the most common issue with mask-plus-goggles combinations: condensation from exhaled breath travelling up onto the lens.

Are these the same goggles included in the G-500 kit?

Yes. The Vision-1000 sold standalone is the same goggle that ships with the G-500 reusable respirator kit. Buying it separately makes sense if you already own a mask, need a backup pair, or want a 2-pack with the ANSI Z87.1 impact rating.

How do I clean the goggles?

Wipe the lens with a clean, dry, soft cloth. For stubborn marks, use a damp cloth with mild soapy water and dry immediately. Do not use solvents, alcohol, or abrasive cleaners — these damage the anti-fog coating. Store the goggles in a clean place when not in use to keep the lens scratch-free.
