A single FFP3 mask is designed for one shift of normal wear — up to 8 hours. Replace the mask sooner if breathing becomes restricted, the mask becomes visibly soiled or wet, or if you've been in a heavily contaminated environment. Don't fold or crush the mask between uses; it's not designed to recover its shape.

The D-110C includes an activated carbon layer between the filter layers. Activated carbon absorbs nuisance odours — paint thinners, solvents, smoke, mildew — and reduces the smell while you work. It does not turn the mask into a chemical respirator. For dedicated chemical or vapour protection, use a reusable mask with a certified gas filter like the M-500 A1P2 or M-500 ABEK1-P2.

Place the mask over your nose and mouth. Pull the lower strap behind your neck and the upper strap across the crown of your head. Tighten both straps for a snug fit — firm against your face, not pinching. Pinch the aluminium nose clip with both hands; using one hand is the most common cause of a poor seal. To check, cup your hands over the mask and breathe in sharply: the mask should draw onto your face.
