What is the D-200 for?

The D-200 is a reusable anti-dust mask designed for general DIY use — sanding, painting prep, light woodworking, garden work, and similar tasks where airborne dust is the main hazard. It uses replaceable F-200 filter pads and is a lower-cost alternative to the G-500 or M-500 for users who don't need gas protection.

What's the difference between the D-200 and the G-500?

The G-500 is a half-mask respirator with bayonet-mount cartridge filters covering both particles and organic gases. The D-200 is a lighter anti-dust mask with a different filter system (F-200 pads) designed for particles only. The G-500 is the right choice for paint, solvents, or chemical work; the D-200 is the right choice for dust-only environments at a lower price.

Which filters does the D-200 use?

The D-200 uses F-200 filter pads, which are dedicated to this mask. F-200 pads slot into the front of the D-200 mask body. They are not interchangeable with C-500 or F-500 cartridges used by the G-500, M-500, and G-750 — the mount is different.

Is the D-200 reusable?

Yes. The D-200 mask body is reusable for years; only the F-200 filter pads are consumable. Wipe the mask body clean after each use, replace the F-200 pads when they become visibly soiled or breathing becomes harder, and store the mask in a cool, dry place.

Can I use the D-200 for spray painting?

No. The D-200 is a particle-only mask — it filters airborne dust but does not protect against organic gases, solvents, or paint vapours. For spray painting, use the G-500 (A1P2 filters) or upgrade to the F-500 ABEK1-P2 for stronger solvents. The G-750 full-face respirator is the right choice if you also need eye protection.

Is the D-200 CE certified?

Yes. The D-200 mask body and F-200 filter pads are both CE certified and tested to the relevant European standard for reusable particle-filtering masks. The CE mark is printed on the mask body and the filter pad packaging — verify both are present when you receive your order.
